Pokémon Type Chart
Use this type effectiveness chart to find out which types are strong or weak against others. The attacking type is shown on the left, and the defending type is shown on top.
How to Read the Chart
Find the attacking type in the left column, then look across to find the defending type in the top row. The cell where they intersect shows the damage multiplier:
- 2 - Super effective! Deals double damage (2x)
- (blank) - Normal effectiveness (1x)
- ½ - Not very effective. Deals half damage (0.5x)
- 0 - No effect. The attack does nothing (0x)
For Pokémon with two types, multiply the effectiveness of both types together. For example, a Fire move against a Grass/Steel Pokémon would be 2x × 2x = 4x super effective!
